The Aeropress and Aeropress Go.
Aeropress is a popular handheld coffee maker that was first introduced in 2005. It is a versatile and portable coffee-making device that is designed to brew a wide range of coffee styles, including espresso, Americano, and cold brew.
The Aeropress Go is a more recent addition to the Aeropress line, and it is designed to be even more portable and travel-friendly than the original Aeropress.
BUZZ Coffee has sold these for over 10 years, I use mine every day for a quick, delicious and consistent coffee.
How to Use the Aeropress
The Aeropress consists of three main parts:
1) The brewing chamber;
2) The plunger;
3) The filter cap.
To use the Aeropress, you will need to fill the brewing chamber with hot water, add coffee grounds, stir, and then press the plunger to extract the coffee. The process is simple and quick, and it results in a clean and rich cup of coffee. Here are the steps to follow:
- Fill the brewing chamber with hot water and let it sit for 30 seconds to preheat.
- Add the coffee grounds to the brewing chamber, making sure they are evenly distributed.
- Fill the brewing chamber with hot water to the desired level.
- Stir the coffee for 10-15 seconds.
- Place the filter cap on top of the brewing chamber and screw it on tight.
- Slowly press the plunger to extract the coffee into your cup.
The Aeropress Go is similar to the original Aeropress, but it is designed to be more compact and portable. It comes with a travel bag, making it easy to bring with you on the go. The steps to use the Aeropress Go are the same as for the original Aeropress.
How to Brew Espresso with the Aeropress
To brew espresso with the Aeropress, you will need to use a fine-grind coffee and apply more pressure when pressing the plunger.
Apply more pressure than you would for a regular cup of coffee to achieve an espresso-like extraction.
Note: While the Aeropress can produce a strong cup of coffee, it is not true espresso by definition. True espresso is made with a high-pressure machine. You will achieve a short, strong black coffee.
Conclusion
The Aeropress and Aeropress Go are innovative and versatile coffee makers that are perfect for coffee lovers who are always on the go. They are easy to use, and they produce a clean and rich cup of coffee in a matter of minutes. Whether you are looking for a long black, a cold brew, or an espresso-style coffee, the Aeropress and Aeropress Go have got you covered.
